I do not understand how it can be put into windows incompatible driver. Not only did I not get a driver, I got an internet toolbar, a tophat arcade download, and a virus. PC Optimzer Pro is now screwing up my computer, and now I have that to deal with on top of my touchpad going wonky. I like using the touch pad and for a while it worked fine. Then one day the scroll and tap corners quit working. So I had to go into mouse settings and reset the scroll and tap functions.
I had to do this every time I rebooted, download synaptics touchpad driver. To fix this I went to the touch pad site and was referred to the driver site for Lenovo. I got the driver download synaptics touchpad driver installed it.
The touch pad worked for about 3 days then the tap feature disappeared and can't be reset. I think Lenovo or Synaptics has neglected to update the driver. Downloaded this as the touchpad on my Acer Aspire suddenly stopped working. Had to revert to Acer's own USB mouse.
I suspected a virus, but McAfee has detected nothing amiss. Downloaded the driver, ran it, but no change - the touchpad does not react at all.
