Everything else falls flat on its face. The supers and typical "new weapons and armor" are the only fundamentally new things added. Everything else is built on literally the same UI and abilities. They added a couple new enemy types but nothing that really feels different like a Forerunner or similar. The worlds feel fresh but not very mindblowing and the strikes and raid fall short of being addictive in any sense because of the large amount of exotics given and ease of leveling.
On a smaller note, I don't like the new "faction engram" system where getting a full set is nearly impossible. Yo great game and all but can shadowkeep and forsaken be free for the people who actually bought the game i mean come on we bought this game and it would be cool is buyers got the dlc's for free. So the game went free to play a while back and i dont know how to feel. With the free to play you get 2 expansions, which is unfair to those who payed for the over priced garbage in the first place.
But going past that the way they handle weapons and perks is still garbage. Bungie themselves said they were "sunseting" past season weapons. So basically getting rid of or limiting the power lvl of past weapons to allow new weapons to be used, just to bring back the old weapons later.
Which is fine until you realize that takes away hours of grinding that people did just to have a chance at pvp. I keep coming back for the excellent gunplay, some of the best. It gets crappy at higher levels of play though. To stay competitive in pvp or pve everyone uses the same guns, so the great variety of weapons becomes meaningless.
The pve experience is definitely better, but not really solo friendly as there isn't matchmaking for everything. Always fun for a few weeks until you burn through all the content and the game wants you to repeat everything.

Fix glitches too. Other than that I don't mind the game. Alot of one stars are people complaining about stuff out of bungies control, or just utter nonsense. I payed for everything in D2 and although there are many problems in it Im still gonna pay and play it.
Its a fun game if you allow yourself to feel the joy. Many problems, wepon balancing, seasonal content, loot, etc. But I enjoy coming back day to day to play. Yeah it gets dull after awhile, but you don't eat the same thing everyday do you? Those complaining about nonsense isn't helping fix it. Theres good things, it's free now we all can play, content, may get dull but theres alot to do, seasonal content is clever and shows their trying!
