Workshop mods not downloading at all :: Crusader Kings II General Discussions
Dec 16, · Hi guys, for the last 24hrs I've been unable to download any workshop items. I click subscribe and the download writing doesn't appear at the bottom of the screen. I have many already download workshop items and they're fine. I followed a google guide on deleting everything in the workshop folder (after unsubbing from my items), sign out-in steam, it immediately downloaded core . They show up in the content manager with the download bar at empty but they never actually download. Anyone know what to do to get this going? Showing 1 - 15 of 16 comments. Ghost B. Tried to relog out of steam and check download que? Just gave it a shot. Shutdown Steam and reopened it.
Nothing in the steam downloads and the same as before in the game, the mods are there but they don't download. I don't know if it's related but on the steam workshop not downloading mods screen when you open the game there's the Steam Workshop section.
Clicking on any of the items does nothing. And clicking the "Steam Workshop" banner makes a clicking noise like it should do something, but it doesn't. The link to the wiki also does nothing. Another thing I noticed, the steam overlay doesn't open when I'm in the game. I just figured out why the workshop mods weren't downloading! I have automatic updates in steam limited to 6amam in the morning.

I have an issue when I subscribe a mod from Workshop it doesn't initiate the download. If it does initiate it, it shows up in downloads but doesn't progress at all. If I restart Steam the download is gone and nothing happens. I have created 'mod' directory into my /documents/Paradox Interactive/Crusader Kings 2/ and I'm sure that I have read and write permissions there as well. Download files from the Steam workshop!
